"Proper" is relative, wet is not right "here".For me as a layman, proper plaster is just something "different".
Situationally clearly more than just adequate. Especially when connecting to the drywall of the stud wall, you’re doing yourself a favor. And for tiling anyway, you only get that level of smoothness with wet plaster after a hundred years of experience ;-)But good to hear that you think it's even a good choice here.
