In northern Germany, we built a house with Tönjes and Meichsner. They are a recommended construction company. The site manager was sometimes a bit overwhelmed, but a great guy on a personal level, overall good people, did a good job. But that is more the area around their company headquarters in Lower Saxony.

EcoHaus definitely does that. Even though I wouldn't necessarily recommend the company. Otherwise, you can look for a general contractor who, for example, offers [Sprossenfenster]. The wooden door can then be done by an external company. We also removed interior and exterior doors from the scope of construction services. They are made of wood but are rather modern than country house style :)

What are those four special bricks to the right directly above the eaves?

They were just stored there temporarily for the photovoltaic system, the kind where cables can pass through. But the solar installer didn't want to use them in the end; he had a different technique. At my request, T&M then replaced them with normal ones and took them away again. :)

Yes, we will also take a look at eco houses. Our architect is currently designing the floor plan, and with that and the construction specification, we go to companies to obtain comparable offers. The planning with the companies is so different (we tried it with Hanse Haus, supposedly it came to a horrendous amount, and with muntin windows, they threw their hands up in horror. Yes, the plot is all but 10 sqm designated as building land at the forest (settlement). Why can't you recommend eco?

Hm, but shouldn’t windows and doors necessarily come from the house construction company?
