Hello everyone,

I am currently dealing with heating load calculation and the design of the underfloor heating for a new building.
Now I would like to roughly estimate in advance what costs one should expect for this.
It is a house on a slope with a basement, ground floor, and attic.
In total, there are 13 rooms that need to be calculated.

Can you roughly estimate in advance what costs are realistically to be expected for these two calculations?

Thank you very much

Regards
Micha

We had trouble finding a TGA for it at all... for single-family homes, it probably isn't really worth it. In the end, the HB did it with the heating company for us, but unsatisfactorily. The result for the single-family house really goes in the direction: bathrooms cannot be brought to 24°C without additional heating, smaller pipe spacing for large living areas with many windows, heating between 5 and 7 kW - here, depending on the HB, there is only one brand or if you're lucky two, and the heaters come in T-shirt sizes. With Vaillant, for example, 5.3 kW and the next then 8.7 kW - even the most meticulous calculations don't help.

Well, just because you didn’t do it correctly and only take Vaillant as a reference, you don’t need to badmouth others – that’s how it often reads lately... You can get a heat load calculation from various service providers online and we paid around 200 euros for it. Including values for hydraulic balancing, optimization for a heat pump, and with our desired temperatures. Because then something like that actually makes a lot of sense...

Hello Sebastian, yes, that is exactly how I understood it. Which provider did you have the calculation done with? Are temperatures already to be specified in the [HLB] or only during the design of the underfloor heating? I would like to have the optimization for the heat pump taken into account.

Google search for wbs and heat load calculation - there you have all the info

Aha ok
I found it earlier too.
Thank you
