Cost surprise for electricity connection. Development / electricity price

our construction project is progressing very well and we are looking forward to moving in soon. Today there was another cost surprise as Netze BW demands 2700€ through the ENCW for the electricity connection. Now I am wondering what they want to get it for. They only have to lay a cable from the distributor through a laid empty conduit into the house. I find it too much. Can I also hire another company or is it a monopoly?

As a rule, you cannot have it carried out by third parties; the regional network operators are virtually monopolists. Just for comparison: we pay 2600 in Thuringia, so either it is very expensive in TH or relatively cheap in BW with you. Just pay and later look for a cheap electricity supplier. The market economy works again in this area...

We only had the one provider for that. The connection costs €1200 for us. The €2400 includes the water connection for us, including excavation, etc. What numbers did you calculate with, or where did you get them from? The costs are listed directly with the supplier.

I have now calculated with 900-1200€. Water, cables, and Telekom all cost about 800-900€. We did the digging and laid the pipes ourselves, only the cables need to be pulled through and connected...
