Hi, what did your meter cabinets for the electrical stuff cost? We just received the offer from the electrician, only the stupid cabinet itself is supposed to cost €895 (without equipment). The total offer for the house amounts to €53,000 gross ...

Sounds very expensive overall. Gold-plated power lines or something similar installed? Multi-family house? KNX?

At €53,000 this will not be a standard installation, the distribution cabinet (I assume this is what you mean by "Elektrokram," in the meter cabinet there are only the main fuses and the meters...) will also be somewhat larger. Mine also cost around €900, it is a floor cabinet with a height of 2 meters.

Exactly, I meant the meter cabinet.

True, that’s certainly not standard. Still crazy what adds up there .
It is a very large single-family house plus basement, outdoor sockets, electric shutters, alarm system, satellite system, video intercom system, and upscale fittings (e.g., already eight sockets planned in the children’s room) with many sockets, many telephone and TV connections.
What we really need, we still have to go through, and this is only the first offer without negotiation .

Hello, our large control cabinet cost 500€ net directly from the wholesaler. I don’t think 800€ from the electrician is too expensive. With a few gimmicks, I believe you can quickly get to 53,000€. There are already great things available. Whether you really need them??

Without bus system. As mentioned, it is also a large house (almost 400m2 including basement). Eight sockets are not many in the children's room, I also think we will add more there. But that is still more than is usually included in the standard initial offer. We will go through it over the weekend and roughly decide what we really want. I think we also have cables, so the satellite system is already off the table. I also don't want an alarm system immediately; you can first lay the wiring for it. In summary, the following is stated:

I. Meter system and main line €4,731.98
II. Potential equalization €385.00
III. Installation living area €15,351.41
IV. Extra cost switch material €781.00
V. Installation garages €1,429.15
VI. Video doorbell intercom system €3,351.93
"Alternativ Angebot" €2,479.73
VII. Satellite reception system €1,553.99
VIII. Data technology €560.65
IX. Extra cost roller shutter central control €3,134.74
X. Installation wiring alarm system €3,101.00
XI. Installation of the alarm system €8,896.34
