Cost of land register entry: individually for each spouse?

Hello,

we have received the invoice for the land registry entry of our house, addressed to me. However, the owners of the house are my wife and I in equal shares.

Question: Does each spouse receive a separate invoice for the land registry entry, or is this now the total invoice, even though only I am named at our current address?

I could not find anything about this online and during our working hours it is not possible to call the responsible office, afterwards no one is available there.

I am asking because the 30% gift tax (the house is a partial gift from the family, not direct relatives) had to be paid separately by both of us in equal parts, each received an invoice from the tax office.

Are you currently confusing the land register and the real estate transfer tax? The land register should be one invoice, the real estate transfer tax should be proportionally one for each owner.

We have only received one invoice as well, I called there and asked, and I was told that this is always done this way, even if the property belongs to each person half.

For the registration of the Auflassungsvormerkung, we have received two invoices, each for half of the fee. But maybe that is also because we are unmarried.

It is indeed the invoice for the land register entry from the district court ([Landesjustizkasse Mainz]).

The individual items are also listed on the back, and there is nothing about 50% or proportional.

Then this should probably be the only invoice for the land register entry.
