Cost of electrical installation in a single-family house

Hello, we will start building our single-family house next year. I am considering or weighing whether we should go in the direction of smart home (Loxone) for the electrical installation. What does a "normal" electrical installation (without smart home) for a single-family house with 168 sqm living space, without a basement, cost approximately? Best regards Patrick

A standard installation with 100 sockets, lighting, blinds, intercom system, and satellite TV costs 20,000 to 25,000 euros. With a bus system, you are at about 50,000 euros.

Just as Bookstar says, with KNX costing around 35K€ with DIY work. But upwards it's of course open, depending on whether you want to detect every little thing or not. Loxone won't be significantly cheaper.

I can roughly confirm these values: Normal electrical work approx. 18-22k€ KNX approx. 35-40k€ With own labor max. approx. 5-7k€ less We had 170sqm without a basement.

Of course, you can also get a purely standard offer and pay the rest in cash. Electrical work is one of the trades where the material costs are much lower than the labor costs, so the leverage for paying in cash is very high. But EL is also possible by chasing grooves (if you feel like it) to save money.

The 15k€ is a good guideline.

15,000 is very little. At most, you get developer standard, and in the rarest cases that will be enough, meaning 2 power outlets in the living room and no LAN anywhere.
