Hello

we (woman / man) are not sure if we might actually want a corner bathtub.

The developer has planned a regular bathtub, the woman's wish is a corner bathtub.

Where do you see advantages - disadvantages of a corner bathtub

thank you

We took neither.
With us, it will be a 5-sided tub where two of us can comfortably fit side by side.

Enamel bathtubs come at a price when they break the norm with their shapes. I personally have no use for these isosceles bathtubs, which usually means the "corner bathtub." They are mostly carelessly pushed into the corner, sometimes under a slope, and side platforms as storage are not really feasible due to the curvature. Furthermore, in my opinion, a 1:2 or 1:3 ratio in a sanitary object usually fits better in a room than a 1:1 ratio (two equal legs), but few are sensitive to that. These corner bathtubs have the biggest drawback that they are difficult to clean and have high water consumption.

But remember how much water fits in the bathtub and how big your hot water tank is, so that you don't end up not being able to fill your large bathtub with hot water.

My parents have a corner bathtub. The problem is that either they are so small that the chest or knees stick out and thus get cold, or you have to fill in huge amounts of water.

My parents would never choose a corner bathtub again.

@ypg How did you mean the 1:2 or 1:3? *being slow on the uptake*
