Hi,
we are considering laying cork flooring continuously in our sleeping and retreat rooms (i.e. office/workroom/reading corner/ironing and sewing room or simply the 'Don’t.get.on.my.nerves.when.my.boss.already.irritates.me!' room) - alternatively maybe parquet... - the question arises: how sensitive will it be? How long does cork flooring last in private use, and when do the usual walking paths start to show? Load: mostly barefoot or in socks... What is recommended as support points for office chairs (casters or floor gliders)? Subfloor: underfloor heating, but since the rooms are kept somewhat cooler anyway, and the whole building will be well insulated (+ central controlled residential ventilation with heat recovery), it probably won’t be used much.
Regards
