How stupid is that?! He didn't deserve anything else *lol* In "our" (not mine) community of heirs, the appointed real estate agent is also not the brightest bulb on the cake. He has made so many mistakes and has already received a warning. He even manages not to properly transfer existing plans and to "decorate" the title photo with a trash can in front of the house. In case someone nice like in your case comes up with the idea to find it out, the neighbors are informed. Our previous real estate agents were great; they relieved us from the "what's your last price" types and real estate tourists and organized the sale very quickly.

We have done that. My husband and I have appointed each other; we inherit each other. Only after we both have passed away do the children inherit. And for the following reason: if a child has a share of inheritance (mandatory share) from a community of heirs, it can insist on a payout and even have a forced auction carried out. But since neither of us can probably pay out a child during our lifetime without selling the house, the house is secured. Not because one does not trust one’s children, but because one never knows what foolish ideas the spouses or their families might have in mind.
