Hello everyone,

I am new here and hope for your help.

We would like to convert our covered terrace on the 1st floor (a total of 2 floors, i.e. above our terrace is the neighbor's bathroom) into living space, provided the structural engineering would allow it. If the structural engineering worked out, what kind of costs should one expect?
The terrace is 8 x 3 m and has a normal floor height.

Do you have any experience with that?!

Thanks a lot in advance!!!!! )))

Hello,

Have you already asked the building authority whether you are allowed to add a floor, and if so, under which conditions?

Best regards

Hello,

The question of costs is not something that can be answered just like that; I don’t know the conditions of the property and I don’t have a crystal ball

That depends ... is the site easily accessible etc., but I think you need to budget costs in the range of EUR 40,000 +/- 5,000 plus costs for architecture and structural engineering.

Kind regards
