Good day. Is it possible for an expert to check the already installed underfloor heating with a thermal imaging camera? The apartment is new and not yet furnished. We would be interested to know exactly where the heating coils are installed. And, can such a camera also detect thermal bridges in winter? It is too warm outside now. Or how could these points be checked already now? Thank you

Now it might become difficult, as summer is just around the corner.

What do you need the exact location of the underfloor heating for? Were you contractually promised a specific installation method and now want to check if it was actually built that way?

The underfloor heating is installed everywhere in the rooms anyway, so it doesn't matter at all where you put your kitchen + furniture. They are always on the underfloor heating - but that doesn't matter either

P.S. This is what the installation looked like for us. Unfortunately, I don't have a picture on hand where the heating circuits are more visible.

That is not entirely correct - the pipes are laid so that furniture does not stand on them - by that I don't mean an armchair, but a kitchen layout does make sense here, because underfloor heating makes little sense there.

Although this naturally makes future planning somewhat more rigid

In the dressing room, we also have no underfloor heating under the cupboards...

Really, do people put that much effort into the furniture? That's new to me and I haven't seen it done before, since the design of the heating along with the calculations usually assume a full-surface installation. The underfloor heating is also installed under the kitchen. Planning extra free areas is pointless. We only didn't have underfloor heating installed under our platform staircase because this was intended to be the resting place for our Bernese Mountain Dog – in winter every degree counts for the dog.
