Hi, how can I control multiple roller shutters in one room, as individually as possible and with as few switches as possible, without having to equip the entire house with smart home technology? My house manufacturer apparently sells Homematic. But apart from the 3 roller shutters in the living and dining room that I would like to control centrally but individually and with as few switches as possible, I wouldn't need smart home now?

So, simply put, a switch with 3 buttons/toggles: 1* up, 1* down, and 1* to switch between the roller shutters? Then place it in a central location and assign all the roller shutters in that room to it?

That can also be done with conventional electrical work. Ask the electrician.

Okay thanks, then I'll dig into that again. Because at the beginning they gave me the impression that they wanted to sell some smart home stuff at all costs.

Take motors with radio control. Then you can group them however you want. Without much effort and cables, also no problem for laypeople.

Exactly, that makes you much more flexible. For us, it was also not more expensive than if the electrician had installed his anachronistic timers.

Generally, everything is possible. With conventional electrical systems, you can solve almost everything that you can do with smart home or PLC. The question, of course, is whether the cost-benefit factor is right and whether it might not be better to choose the smart option instead. There are Teepao switches of the 3rd generation. They connect to WiFi, work with Alexa and Smartlife (App), are autonomous, and you only need to buy the switches. They cost around 25E and work flawlessly. Compared to normal switches, they are not more expensive.
