Then probably mention that this is only done as a precaution and that there has not yet been time to think about it specifically, but at the same time one does not want to delay the construction.
"somehow" is an indication that it depends on BOTH parties here as well (as usually). The contractor might sense trouble and want to start the dispute immediately, but he also has a lot to do initially and may not assess the "right to reclaim" as it legally appears. ;)
