Hello everyone,
I have a question.
There is already electricity on my property. I have an outdoor fuse box from earlier times, 1.40m high and 1m wide, where my meter is located along with fuses that supply the entire property, small bungalow, outdoor lighting, etc. Two heavy current connections are also present inside a massive shed. One is a red and the other an oval socket. Back then, it was a kind of holiday camp property from an electrical company.
Do I now need a construction power box according to VDE and so on and so forth? Since the bungalow, where there were sockets, will be demolished.
The outdoor fuse box gets its power through the main power box at the front of the property (small box with a seal). There is already a meter inside that will later be moved into the house. (Utility room)
Now, the Schuko sockets etc. are missing.
As I said, I already have some things there and renting such a box also costs money. I might not need construction power either, right? Since I’m already receiving electricity.
What would now be the best (cheapest) approach?
Best regards
Tom
