Hi, the problem is that the quality sometimes suffers if you only apply pressure shortly before the deadline. During our renovation, I gave the drywall installer / painter a good time window. It was manageable. In the end, it was tight and the quality was poor. There was a discount, but in hindsight, I would have preferred to ask for a correction. At that time, the move was imminent (I still had to install 10 doors and 100 linear meters of baseboards), I was on a business trip on the side and had scheduled a bunch of people privately. Plus, it was the week before Christmas.

Conclusion: not only point out the final deadline early, but also the quality to be maintained, which may have to be ensured by rework to meet the final deadline.
