No, nothing too pushy, but it’s always the same since these questions never come from an advisor either. They are only interested in the current situation and not the future. We assess the future a bit and bring in arguments if it gets tight.

If someone wants to build for 500k with 4k net income without kids and still wants 3 children, it simply won’t work (hypothetical example).

If I see that correctly, it is a same-sex civil partnership. In that case, the issue of children is usually not so pressing.

Just a small objection to the topic: No builder has ever built without risk. Therefore, I would spontaneously say that €800 is too little to build, but in terms of salaries, it would work. Otherwise, the typical advice, waiting a few years and saving up, has never harmed anyone. And the interest rate increases during the waiting period are negligible. Moreover, there are also insurances for loss of earnings that cover or minimize the exact risk of the main earner failing.
