Please do not confuse equity with liquid funds: Financing = loan + equity Retained liquid funds = cash for paying for furniture and other stuff

400k with 4k or 5.4k net should be feasible

I think so too. Since we don’t live extravagantly. And we can now easily save the additional €1500 monthly on top of the rent, which I roughly had in mind as a payment. That’s why a relatively high equity.

Then I will take care of the banks next ;-)
