Hello dear forum community!

After planning with an architect, I am now looking for a construction company for the shell construction. So far, I have quietly read along a lot, including posts from users who obviously come from Middle Franconia (Zaba12). Unfortunately, I cannot contact anyone yet, so I am starting a small inquiry this way... Can colleagues from the said area or catchment area recommend shell builders via PM with whom they have had good experiences (PLV)?

I look forward to every response! Thank you very much!

Why don’t you look for the construction company together with the architect; and is he supposed to only plan and not also do detailed planning and construction management?
Just yesterday I wrote again here about the adventures you get into when you do without a professional; and since you were apparently already on the right track with planning with an architect, in my opinion you should stick to that.

On the one hand, there is a forum section here "Experiences with construction company XYZ," in which such companies from the greater Nuremberg / Fürth / Lauf area have certainly been discussed several times. On the other hand, if you cannot write PMs yet, you unfortunately cannot receive them either. Since we do not know whether we can reach you just as easily via classic email like me (with gmx de behind my member name), otherwise you still have the option to ping your desired communication partners here in the thread – by not writing e.g. (Zaba12), but (in this way the member in question receives a notification that they have been mentioned by you and will thus become aware of your question).

Google Kaiser Bau Weisendorf. They don't have an online presence (necessary). You should still look for a shell builder with your architect. My architect and the shell builder knew each other and had worked together several times. That way, there is always someone knowledgeable who reviews the offer and can make adjustments. There is an offer that one can accept. Upon request, with a discount, nothing more.

Thank you very much for your response! I have been a silent reader until now, but have always benefited from your input!

My initial post was somewhat brief. We have just submitted the application and are currently considering how to proceed. General contractor for the rest or architect – at least for the entire shell construction phase or even more. If we continue with the architect, information about the shell builder or other trades is not wasted.

No matter how things are supposed to continue, nothing will happen this year anymore. One must not entertain any illusions. The main thing is that the building permit for the [Baukindergeld] is in the pocket. Otherwise, it would be a waste of money. So, good luck.

I don't see any "or" there: I would never let a general contractor manage the construction themselves, because then you could almost as well save the architect. A general contractor as a contractor is okay, I would never rule that out, whether for the entire construction project or just for the shell.
