Hello everyone,

can someone recommend a construction company in Upper Bavaria that builds turnkey in brick construction and with which they were completely satisfied?
I have already researched a lot, talked to other builders, etc. But unfortunately, I have not found anyone who was fully satisfied. It was more like so-so to catastrophe.
In addition, we would like to build in a healthy living manner, but there seems to be almost no one offering that anymore anyway.

Thank you very much for tips.

Best regards, unser_schloss

The association "healthy living = only bricks" sounds to me strongly like pony farm romanticism. Lightweight expanded clay aggregate, aerated concrete, sand-lime brick or pumice are also not dioxin-contaminated, carcinogenic and from factory farming ;-)

By the way, there are also brick builders who work with prefabricated wall panels and are active nationwide - so one can unnecessarily restrict oneself with the narrow search filter "Oberbayern".

One must also be clear that not everything will run smoothly... All in all, I can say that we were satisfied with Schauer Bau from Rohrdorf, to be specific. We bought [schlüsselfertig], meaning the developer model. However, they also do [GU], as far as I know...

The nice house in your avatar picture is not a custom design?

Hello everyone,

thank you very much for your answers.
@ 11ant: That is a misunderstanding. I did not say that only bricks are healthy to live in, but only that I want to build healthily with bricks. It is not enough to use only bricks; all other building materials also have to be healthy to live in. And so far I have hardly found any suppliers who seriously care about that. The mere bold statement "bricks, therefore healthy to live in" is not enough for me.

: No, as I said, no individual planning. The house was largely already planned when we "jumped in," the previous interested party had dropped out. Of course, we were still able to adjust some interior walls. The construction itself actually proceeded for us as if we were the actual builders: We could access the construction site at any time, negotiated and settled additions directly with the craftsmen, etc. In summary, a really pleasant construction phase with a trusting collaboration...
