That’s clear. Where does the focus on bricks come from? Other stones are also suitable for healthy living construction, aren’t they?

Clean, respect.

The company also gives me a solid impression, regionally rooted and preserving its name with good work.

What do they build with? There’s nothing about it on the website; you have to request the information first.

I would definitely look for a very local provider. You always have them "within reach" if something should happen. The best bricklayer from NRW might come, but that won't help you in Bavaria. That's why, quite contrary to 11ant, I would narrow it down even further than "Upper Bavaria," and really take a look in your Gäu. Especially smaller craft businesses are more open if the homeowner wants something special. And then it's up to you to find out what building materials, besides bricks, you would like to have used.

No, as you know, actually not at all contrary to me. Because I tend to prefer companies in solid construction that are “liable” with their name within their catchment area. But here there is apparently a restriction limited to bricks. And since I advise against "re-educating" a construction company (and the best regional contractor can be a lime mason), I can only recommend "Plan B" here. Because there are also prefabricated red masons, but then with a larger catchment area. But my actual advice was to also consider other building materials, since brick is by no means the only healthy living stone (and it only holds the top spot in popular belief). This can completely change the selection of regional providers.

Thank you. We are also very satisfied. We especially enjoyed the completely move-in ready takeover of the building (including garage, paving work, terrace and rough garden grading), even though of course you have to pay for that... Quite "Bavarian-classic" with bricks, at least in the projects known to me. We have Poroton 36 cm with perlite filling. But it certainly depends on the respective contracted masonry company, and in Bavaria they do at least 80% bricks (that is my personal perception...)

I get the impression that your builder does the masonry himself (?)

No, actually he only coordinates, all work was outsourced but awarded locally.
