We paid about 1k for an 11kw wallbox including installation. We had the preparation done during the shell construction phase. It's hard to specify, it was included in an overall price for all additional electrical work, I don't remember the exact breakdown. My builder isn't that precise about it. Maybe 200-300 euros?

But it might not be a good reference price, our people tend to be on the cheaper side.

P.S. - You only need approval for 22kw wallboxes, not 11kw. It always depends on the supplier. In my opinion, you don't necessarily need 22kw.

Have a look at mobilityhouse. There you will find affordable and good wallboxes and lots of information in the Knowledge Center. A colleague ordered there and was well advised on the phone. We have an 11kW WB, no approval or registration was necessary. Just call your electricity supplier. Be careful, depending on the WB you may need an FI Type A EV or B, the normal Type A is not sufficient.

Alternative is to have only one CEE installed and use a mobile charging station. This way, 22 kW would also be possible without registration.

Depends.

That’s why such things are done by a professional and not a layperson. They know which FI is necessary.

Why always do such nonsense? Have a 11kW wallbox installed by a professional, register it, and that's it. Such DIY solutions from amateurs are the real joy of every fire insurance...

Huh? Why a makeshift solution?? Do you understand what it's about? CEE adapters are completely normal solutions. And the electrician can install CEE in the garage. What is this tinkering?
