The price is fair, the thing has to be connected to the underfloor heating, water (re)filled, electrical connection established and then everything reversed again.

Why... depends on the planned heating system. If applicable, it might not yet be available for drying the screed, which would be the simplest reason.

Connecting such a Hotboy is not rocket science and can easily be done in 1 hour. It is also understandable that the heating engineer does not install the thing for free. He doesn’t have to. If you calculate well now and say the installer charges 200,-€ for assembly and disassembly, you still have just under 800,-€ left for the rental fee.

You do realize that thing requires three phases? Calculate at least the same amount again for the electrician, unless there is already a CEE socket installed within reach by chance.

But whatever. He’ll have to pay for it like that.

I already know that;) But normally, during the construction phase when the drying program is running, there is still a construction site power distributor on site

But you don't seriously believe that the heating engineer would have included the costs for the electrician. The guys can't even manage to calculate a heat pump ready for operation. ;)

Heating screed with the door open?

The OP generally corresponds with a general contractor, now directly with the heating engineer. He should probably ask whether there will be additional costs for the connection, yes.
