Basically, your heat pump draws electricity from the photovoltaic system when it generates electricity. Therefore, the heat pump must not be connected to a separate meter but included in the household electricity. Optionally, the photovoltaic system with its components and the heat pump can be coupled together with an appropriate module.

Yes, exactly. Own electricity before all other consumers. There is a reason why I have to do it this way, but that is not important for the task at hand.

That is clear. It is more about the control of the heat pump. I would like to give priority to the heat pump over all other consumers. If the heat pump is "Smart Grid" capable, I have the following three control options:

1. Connect directly to the inverter
2. A smart meter
3. Control via an energy management system

I will phrase the question a bit more clearly: what do I need to consider with the three solutions and how do they differ in terms of control level? Also happy to have a link if this has already been answered somewhere.

But wouldn’t it rather be the other way around? There are cheaper electricity contracts for heat pump systems. Therefore, I would operate them with photovoltaic power only when all other consumers are supplied.
