Hm, if I assume that is 1 hour of driving, I come to: 0.68 euro * 50 km + 107 euros/hour + 3% of that (8% general minus 5% discount) + 19% of that = 172.82 euros Just for the trip. Matches your calculation... Seen that way, it feels expensive. That's always a good idea! And as you can see, travel costs really add up.

That’s right, I will try again on site to get a cheaper offer. My current advisor actually makes a good impression but is very busy and therefore may not feel the need to offer cheap prices.

The travel times for 8 on-site visits (including acceptance) thus amount to almost €1,400. I must have had an error in my total cost calculation. If I assume the reviews of the documents before the trips, the construction supervision (7 visits and acceptance), and travel costs, I come to over €4,000 including all surcharges. I find that quite hefty. If I could offset the KFW431 that wouldn’t be a problem, but as it is?

Are there other builders who have done construction supervision? How high were your costs, for how many site visits, travel costs, and ancillary costs?
