Concrete pedestal staircase, which covering suits us?

Hello!

We are currently planning our house, and fortunately, a landing staircase now fits into the floor plan.

We have now switched from a steel substructure to concrete and are wondering which stair covering makes sense. With the steel staircase, our favorite was oak; now suddenly there are many more possibilities.

The hallway in front of the staircase on the ground floor will be tiled, as will the flood area in front of the staircase. In the hallway on the upper floor, there will probably be a vinyl floor in oak look.

What options are there for the covering? We actually only want to cover the treads and are now considering whether wood, wood-look tile, "normal" tile, exposed concrete, or vinyl? How does the respective floor covering affect the masonry handrail? If it is tiled, do I absolutely need a finishing strip? If I already have a "seamless" step made of tile, then the strip would rather bother me...

The possibilities really seem almost endless ... thank you very much for your help!

We have tiled floors and oak parquet on the platform staircase from the carpenter.

The risers are only filled and painted, but afterwards treated with "Elefantenhaut" because they got dirty very quickly.
We are satisfied with it and would do it the same way again.

No, it is not planned. If we ever need it, something like that can be quickly retrofitted.

I would probably continue laying the floor covering in the hallway. It is not nice to install one type downstairs, another on the stairs, and yet another upstairs. Unless the stairs have a status or can be considered a unique piece in terms of design.

There is also no handrail in our stairwell and we might retrofit one if necessary. I'm just asking how the situation stands in terms of safety then.
