(Concrete) ceiling painting - is pretreatment necessary?

Can you post pictures of the ceilings that have just been plastered and painted? I haven't seen a single one that I liked.

I am actually very satisfied. Only with one bump you can see a small transition. But I would have felt like I would have had to putty about half a meter in both directions.

The painting itself could have gone a bit better too, we only painted twice and in the twilight you can already see some streaks. It is really really hard to judge when the result is perfect.

Here are some pictures. It basically looks like a normally painted wall. If you look closely, you can see some small holes here and there. (That would be avoidable if you filled every little hole, but I didn't care)
