Concealed bathroom fittings

in our bathroom - shower and tub - the ibox (flush-mounted base unit) from Hansgrohe was installed. Are we now necessarily tied to Hansgrohe fittings or can Grohe fittings also be connected?

No, that is not possible. Grohe and every other manufacturer have their own concealed bodies.
