I also claim that it will be very tight. Depending on how many helpers there are. We had to hire a professional for the wallpaper, for example (just for removing, mind you), because the old ones were multi-layered and extremely firmly attached. Otherwise, we would have gotten seriously behind schedule. Today and tomorrow, the screed will be ground and then leveled (including vinyl). In my opinion, the preparation always takes the most time. And what consumes a lot of time is when materials are missing. Then there are everyday things that also need to be done. Whether we will make it by September is questionable. Although with our own work, we are rather within the time frame. Coordinating the craftsmen is challenging. And not all of them always have time!

They must be great friends to sacrifice their time .... can you otherwise pay semi-professionals who can help you? I would only do what is necessary so that you are in and then the rest. Moving is more important. What needs to be done big in the apartment after 2.5 years? Only white painting if there are colorful walls

Hi everyone,

Today I received the approval from the owner. Man, am I relieved and happy [emoji2] So the points mentioned above are now becoming concrete. Many thanks already for the contributions! I will comment on the individual comments again later.

The initial tendency is that we will have the drywall and painting work done, provided the price works out. Do you think 20,000€ is enough for the points mentioned above? Doors 3,000€, floors 5,000€, the rest small stuff and breakthrough and drywall/painting work.

My brother is a master painter and offers q2 filling at 6-8 per sqm in tenders. Q3 four euros more, as it is quite elaborate. Wall paint like [Sto Basic] twice old white also around 5 per sqm. All net, but including material. Karsten

But it is cheap for a company, especially the filling

But it is also a difference whether you work on the house during the week only as a couple (man and woman) or if you have three strong helpers, possibly with craftsmanship experience, working with you on the weekend.

We had the problem that the hardware store was 15 KM away. We always had some trip during the day, sometimes even 2, because at that time we didn't have a mobile phone yet.
