Completely exhausted - but happy?

Hi,
I have to ask something different now:
Since we started building the house, I practically can’t sleep in anymore. Otherwise, I feel fine, sleep 8 hours – completely normal – but I’m extremely tired. I’m not nervous or worried – not at all. I’m totally happy that we are building and already looking forward to the house. But during the day, I almost fall asleep standing up. Is that normal? Does this happen to others too? Is one just that exhausted when building a house?

I hope that this disappears after moving in and that I am totally worn out but happy. What do you think?

The screed is now in. The planned move-in is at the end of January.

Well, it depends on what is going on at the construction site and to what extent you pitch in yourself...

But you are having it built, right?

I can never fall asleep, something always comes to mind... mentally and on the web, I switch between screed drying, garden layout, LED lamps, gravel, Ikea offers, and paints.
Vacation has been "blocked" for own work this year... finally vacation at the end of November (I'm surprised I manage it like this), but no sleeping in, instead "real" work is on the agenda

Yes, of course. We’re doing the electrical work and later the painting ourselves. We’re basically on the construction site on weekends and working during the week. Vacation time was used up for the electrical work. But that’s actually not really my problem. I always have to work anyway (self-employed and constantly working). But this tiredness is wearing me down. If I could, I would be drinking coffee all the time, but I can’t tolerate it. I need other drugs.. Does anyone have a tip?
