hello,

we are about to finalize the financing (in about 6 weeks the total financing costs will be determined and I am reluctant to finance too little out of haste and then have to refinance). What is your assessment of the trend or the future of construction interest rates? The ECB announced on 22.1.2015 to keep the key interest rate at 0.05%. But that was before the Greek election. I am somehow a bit afraid at the moment to miss the low interest rates in case the Greeks are kicked out of the EU. I am not a financial expert but the whole spectacle with the Greeks worries me. On the other hand, the key interest rate is so low to stimulate the economy in Europe and even if Greece is no longer on board it has to somehow continue... My bank said nothing will change in the next few weeks, on the internet it says that interest rates will remain that low for at least another six months... What do you think?

I hardly believe that much can still happen there at the moment. The interest rates are already very low anyway.

If one knew that. I got 1.62% for 20 years. It might drop a little more, but in my opinion not by 0.5% anymore. But if one knew something like that...

This question cannot really be answered. But whether now today or in 3 months probably won't make much difference.

Everyone wants to finance at rock-bottom interest rates, but probably (almost) no one has managed it. Would it be an option to secure financing now that is somewhat higher than expected, where you can "give back" 10% almost free of charge?

We also have this 10-percent solution. By the way, over a longer period, we regularly had new offers calculated by the broker. There has already been some progress in terms of "a little less interest per week."
