Why? I, as the OP, submitted a building application that was approved ==> all requirements of the development plan and the municipality were met. On what grounds do they then still demand a work contract (if there is even a work contract - for example, we could not have presented one, because the contracts are awarded individually)? If there is such an obligation (standard question for lawyers: Where does it say that?), then it would be okay - otherwise, I wouldn’t see what the municipality has to do with my work contract. It would be best to also submit the financing from the bank and proof of equity so that there is security that the house can actually be built ;)

P.S. I like to argue with my municipality. It has already brought a lot for our building area (there are also other people willing to argue) - but an argument must always remain within reasonable limits.

Who is the seller of the property and what is possibly stated in the purchase contract for the same?

Some municipalities also like to include the "conditions" there if they are new development areas.

What does requested mean? Letter? In writing? Just a simple two-liner? Or even with a justification? I have never seen a letter from an authority that does not contain at least a reference to a law, regulation, or statute.

You could have presented your contract with the architect ;-)

The city of Neuss, for example, currently requires proof of equity capital already when applying for a plot of land, for a small development area in Büttgen. Whoever refuses doesn't even get into the lottery ;-)

Where do they still want to build in Büttgen? They have just finished planting everything along the West bypass.

Actually, you could come by sometime, Martina :-) The four kilometers aren’t much anymore...

It’s called the Römerstraße new development area; as with promising stock market launches, it’s already hopelessly oversubscribed. The city sent out the approvals for a small expansion in Allerheiligen 14 days ago.

We’ll definitely manage that sometime; I’d be happy about it ;)

Rhenish greetings

Then the positions in Neuss are also clarified from the start. That is also OK.

By the way, I couldn’t have presented an architect’s contract to the city either. There wasn’t one. Those were subsidized loans ;).
