since you "have to" build as you described, first it should be clarified: Do you mean photovoltaics (Photovoltaik) or ST (Solarthermie)? If KfW40+ construction, I suspect photovoltaics, if energy saving ordinance or KfW55 probably due to the required renewable share = ST.

ST is available colored (but niche product = expensive), the color spectrum mentioned in the long essay by does not play such a big role there either.

"Color options" for photovoltaics
- FB (FullBlack) = nicely black with black roofing and substructure = more expensive, pretty, 2-3% losses (heat = negative for photovoltaics)
- polycrystalline (rather outdated technology and currently more expensive than the better monocrystalline cells) = bluish
- or simply current monocrystalline cells = rather technically "silver" (which weak-sighted people like me would identify as silver)

Only energy saving ordinance, no KfW.

Do I understand you correctly that "silver" only exists for photovoltaic, not for ST?

I'll ask my brother-in-law tonight which colors ST can have. He is an MEP planner and a former installer... maybe he knows that.
