Hello everyone,
our construction staircase was removed yesterday. Now, logically, there are still 2 holes in the screed where the construction staircase stood on the base plate.
Our site manager said these should be closed as follows --> insulation and then filled with screed. Does this method require a foil between the insulation and the screed? If yes, what kind of foil should it be?
Our stair builder said these holes could also be sprayed with 2-component construction foam. It would insulate, be fine in terms of load, and would be quick and uncomplicated. Vinyl will be laid as a top covering.
Somehow, the option with the construction foam seems a bit odd to me.
What do you think about it?
Thanks
