Choosing the right front door

I have a white plastic door...and nowadays there are so many chic variants...

We received our new front door today. Wood (oak) with steel reinforcements, painted anthracite. It was an absolute bargain price-wise and not even remotely achievable by any other door. The insulation values are supposed to be good as well.

The side panel reflects only due to the incidence of light, it is "normal" clear glass with triple glazing.

I would always go for wooden doors. They not only look great but are also extremely durable. And when it’s your own property, it’s okay to spend a bit more, right?

Besides, wooden doors come in many interesting variants. Have you ever heard of [Klöntüren]? They are split in two, so you can open the upper part to "chat" while keeping small children, dogs, etc. inside with the closed lower part. My daughter in Oldenburg once chose a nice [Klöntür] from frovin.

If I ever need a new front door again, that would definitely be something I’d consider *laugh* But in any case, always a wooden door!
