Hello everyone,

a new bathtub was installed for me, and the bathtub seemed to have no damage. One day after I came home from work, the bathtub had a chip exactly at the spot between the backrest and the seating area of the bathtub. If you feel with your hand at the spot where the chip and discoloration are, you can also feel a dent. This dent is convex and not visible to the naked eye.

The bathtub was installed by a plumbing company. My first suspicion was that something fell into the bathtub, but then the dent would be concave and not convex. Could it be that the dent was already there and the damage occurred afterwards, after the bathtub was installed and filled?

I have attached a picture of the damage.
