With all due respect - that is nonsense!

In the north, roller shutters are also frowned upon; for the people of Neuß, a house is only a house if facing bricks are installed, and beyond the Weißwurst border, wood is the be-all and end-all. So what now?

There are many modern architectures where a classic chimney stack simply looks out of place; in contrast, the flue made of stainless steel is the icing on the cake and harmoniously rounds off the appearance. Additional plus – the chimney sweep’s dirt always stays outside.

Anyone building classically and therefore wanting a classic chimney stack can also have it installed outside, on the exterior wall. However, in my view it only looks good if the chimney stack can be placed on the gable side.

Best regards from the Rhineland

Nope.... here in the north people also use it as a design element in modern new buildings

I am aware of that
my question is whether it will be concerning in the future because of cracks or similar?
