Children's room - I want cork

we would like to equip our two children's rooms with cork floors. what are the advantages and disadvantages?

we would like cork because cork has the great insulation advantage. children can play on it without any problems - it is always warm underfoot, even in winter...

are there other coverings that also have advantages for children's rooms?
