Cherry laurel Caucasica - yellow leaves every year??

It's no use. Take a soil sample and these photos including some yellow leaves and go to the specialist store. They will analyze the soil for hopefully little money and give tips on what might be causing the problem. In my opinion, they are growing too sparse. It's natural that some leaves are replaced, meaning lost as yellow. Good luck, and please report back.

Yes, if every few years the leaves turn yellow and fall off, it would be normal, but not 80% of the leaves every year, even the small new ones.

It is probably just a minor issue, otherwise no new leaves would grow. It's just annoying that the hedge never becomes dense because of it.

I will do the soil test as planned and see what the experts tell me.
