Hello, I am no longer willing to carry my vacuum cleaner through the house all the time. I have seen that you can also install a central vacuum system, is that a very big effort or is it possible even if you already live in the house?

I can understand you well, such a vacuum cleaner really strains the back. But the retrofitting of such a system is certainly not easy, it should always be done during construction. Because it requires quite an effort due to the pipes in the wall!

I also quickly got tired of carrying the vacuum cleaner up the stairs all the time. Since the central vacuum no longer works for me, I bought a second vacuum cleaner. One stays upstairs and one downstairs, so I can vacuum everywhere, and that was cheaper than a vacuum system!

You can install such a vacuum cleaner afterwards, but that would be too much effort for me. Just imagine all the dirt it creates. I would rather buy a vacuum cleaner for each floor, that is also many times cheaper than such a complex system.

Such a vacuum cleaner is really a great thing, but what do you do with the hose? I can't imagine how that should work at all, do you push it back into the wall after vacuuming or do you have to store it somewhere?

I can't imagine that it can be retrofitted either. Because the vacuum requires a pipe in the wall to transport the dirt away. Otherwise, you would need enough empty conduits in which you can lay the hoses.
