We are building a house where all windows are to be fitted with electric shutters.

Is it technically possible to control the shutters individually AND centrally?

My idea is to use a central switch to raise/lower the shutters on the ground floor and a second main switch to do the same for the shutters on the upper floor simultaneously. However, individual control should still be possible.

The house has about 19 windows, and I don't want to operate 19 switches every evening.

Radio motors are not planned, although that would certainly be possible.

The standard 230V solution is not possible, it would cause a short circuit in the motors. Either a digital control (these timers) or radio control.

Of course that's possible, however, some wiring and cost effort is required.

The whole thing is not a big problem, I did it myself as well, the important thing is that you lay a 5-wire cable for the blinds instead of a 3-wire one. There are 2 possibilities then: 1) From the central switch to the 1st blind => to the 2nd => to the 3rd ... 2) from the central switch to the 1st blind, from the central switch to the 2nd blind ... The only thing to watch out for is that you don't have 20 blinds with 200+ watts on one switch/circuit. But as you describe it, it should be a maximum of 10 per switch and many of them rather in the 100-watt range. Depending on how many there exactly are and how much power they need, you might have to take a separate circuit per switch.

since editing is not possible:

I mean of course the 5-core cable from the central switch to the individual switch and not directly to the shutter

So, once again for understanding for a non-electrician: The main switch gets power from the fuse box. Then a 5-core cable goes to the switch of the 1st roller shutter. When I then operate the 1st switch, there is always power on it, so that I can raise or lower the 1st roller shutter? And the same of course applies for roller shutters 2, 3, etc.
