Hello,
My builder is charging an extra 12,000 euros for an exterior basement staircase, which I find too expensive.
Now I want to do it myself. Can someone give me a few tips regarding the basement stairs?
I wanted to have a prefabricated stair installed (the crane will be on the construction site anyway).
My question is: Can I connect the rainwater that collects in front of the basement door to the house’s drainage?
From the drainage, the water goes to the cistern to irrigate the garden. I am not allowed to connect the drainage to the combined sewer. Since the property is 2480m² in size, I am grateful for every liter of water, so another side of the roof will also flow into the cistern.
Or should I better roof the entrance. But that will be more expensive.
Best regards
