Ceilings and walls in Q3 with or without painter's fleece?

Hello forum community, we have bought a newly built condominium that will be ready for occupancy in 2022. According to the construction description, the ceilings and walls will be finely plastered in Q3 and painted white. The additional application of [Malervlies] is not included and costs €6.50 more per sqm. Is the investment worth it? If yes, does it make sense to apply [Malervlies] to all rooms or only the hallway and living/kitchen/dining area? Since this is quite some money and we have no experience in this matter, we rely on your collective knowledge. Thanks in advance.

What materials are the walls and ceilings made of? The same everywhere? If everything is concrete, it might be possible to omit it. With a mix of concrete and drywall or Poroton, I would have painter's fleece installed, although that does not help 100% either.

Exterior walls are to be built with soundproof bricks and load-bearing interior walls from concrete, with the other partition walls constructed in a stud frame. Therefore, we were advised to apply painter's fleece as well. To save costs, we would then forgo it in the utility room and bedrooms. Does that make sense? Or should we bite the bullet and have the bedrooms done with it as well? Or skip it entirely because it's wasted money?
We absolutely can't judge. This is our first new build project. We have no comparisons of Q2 and Q3 or with and without fleece. Are the differences huge or marginal? How might it behave over the next few years with hairline cracks? They are said to appear more or less in most new builds. That is why one would use painter's fleece to mask this, right? At least that's what we were told.

We do not have painter's fleece. In 2x rooms, unfortunately, the transitions from drywall to calcium silicate brick are visible, but since it is in the dressing room and the office, it does not bother us. All other rooms have calcium silicate brick inside and ytong outside. After 1 year, we have almost no cracks, only at the transition from the window to the wall. We do not regret at all that we do not have painter's fleece.

Especially with your material mix, I would already use painter's fleece, but I also don't know how tight it is with you. Leaving the utility room free is possible, some don't even paint there. However, if you do the bedroom, I would do it right away.

The question is: paint on plaster or paint on painter's fleece. If you want to leave everything white, then you can do without painter's fleece. But if you want to repaint the walls / add color accents later, then I would use painter's fleece in those areas. Simply so that you don't have to scrape off paint residues from the wall at some point later.

I would leave ceilings plastered at Q3. Bedroom, living room, hallway, kitchen, dining room I would do with painter's fleece on the walls.

You described the cracks well. They can occur, and with fleece over it, they should not be visible.

I'm relieved that I no longer have to worry about such things^^ (We have all walls and ceilings Q2+ painter's fleece + white silicate painted).
