Well, good question.... Generally, gable roofs and flat roofs are mentioned. Shed roofs are not allowed. However, there is no reference to garages and carports. I have separated the items carport and outdoor area (terrace, paving, etc.). In the carport item, I have mentally included the position of L-beams.

I can also recommend holzon. They have a configurator to create your desired configuration and then see how expensive your kit will be. You can also request assembly. Two friends of ours bought the kits from there and the quality looks pretty good.

We have such a hardware store carport, set up about 5 years ago, for 2000 euros. It still stands and looks like new. Honestly, I wouldn't know why anyone would spend so much money on a carport, unless it is somehow made of metal and therefore expensive. Ours is about 4x7m, made of wood, and we have painted it again. If I were to spend 20,000 euros on it, I would rather plan a garage right away.

Good, I see that differently, 5 years or 10 years is of course no problem at all. But when it comes to material, there is a big difference. I have already seen many of the DIY store carports where the rafters sagged. But everyone can decide that for themselves. I am lucky that the Polish border is closed. That way I can get a carport that costs between 12000 and 15000 here for 7000.
