Can the air-to-water heat pump also be used for cooling in summer?

Well, small or large system, the pressure in the pipe remains the same...

You only start worrying later when you still need quite a few adapters/couplings/reducers.

It already starts with whether the pipe at the system has metric or inch dimensions. But never mind, we are already too far away from the actual topic.

Right, that's why I'm coming back to the "cooling" function of a heat pump now. It actually works, yes. However, only really effective where the sun directly hits the ground and heats it up accordingly. Lowering the blinds has the same effect but additionally the advantage that it uses no electricity (ok, an electric roller shutter does :p) and is much more effective. I have to admit, though, that I tried it last summer—not without prejudice—and I actually had the impression that it became noticeably and pleasantly cooler at the ground. My wife had the same impression. So we will probably use the cooling function again in summer. Even if theoretically it hardly does anything...Placebo?
