Sorry, I just didn’t read properly and had ring beams in mind

If the execution deviates from the plan, there must be an explanation for it; this is usually provided by the structural engineer.

As far as the materials used are concerned, I still don’t see the big problem as long as they are usable. I am simply a fan of cycles Also, I wouldn’t know why you should be afraid that only used materials will be employed. However, I do very much see the necessity for you personally to consult an expert. That he then also accompanies your construction at the same time is the icing on the cake

Rhenish greetings

A perimeter insulation is only fully glued when there is hydrostatic pressure - then the joints must also be sealed. But this is done with a bitumen thick coating.

Expanding foam is not water-soluble, but it is also not waterproof.

The insulation is only glued spotwise if there is no hydrostatic pressure - that was the case with us, so we just put a few blobs on the boards and attached them to the wall.

Whether insulation on a floor slab is glued at all, I unfortunately do not know - I think that a PE foil is used in that case.

We are agreed on the expert, after all - you still owe me an answer regarding the tick.

Called the structural engineer, who said that the steel fiber concrete is fine or even tendentially superior. It is also not a foundation but the frost apron. The building surveyor is not reachable. Today, a ring beam was built on the apron. The mentioned slabs are to be placed in this ring beam.

Just spoke with BU on the phone - he said if the panels cause us too much trouble, he would also replace them with new ones. Just talked a bit with the mason who coated everything with sealing slurry - that also sounded reasonable.

Hello What have you done with Styrodur? Where exactly are you? I can also pick something up if you are still there.
Regards

Are not my boards Were partly used for the perimeter insulation (between the base plate and the brick veneer), partly picked up. The base was now also coated with bitumen, everything looks okay so far.
