Cable for installing IKEA Grundtal spot under ceiling sides

Good morning,

I would like to install the Faktum wall cabinets with the Grundtal spots using "invisible" cable routing. For this, I want to mount a cover panel at the bottom.

Do you also have to mill a groove in the carcass to get the cable from the top (where the power connection is) down the side of the cabinet? And do you also need a groove on the underside? How is this best done? It would be great if there was a photo somewhere on the internet. Thanks!

I would mill a groove in the cover panels with the router.

Groove in the top side is also an idea. So it seems it can't be done without milling. Too bad, I was hoping for some time-saving trick ... Thanks anyway.

otherwise just run it through the cabinet and don’t place anything at the spot where the cable comes through. Although the tip with the router is much more professional. ;)
