When redesigning our kitchen, we would like to cover the wall between the countertop and the upper cabinets – initially, of course, we thought of the Fastbo panels. However, we don't really like the color, plus they are only 50 cm wide, so there would always be joints. Now we had the idea to instead use cabinet doors from a tall cabinet, maybe in the same color as our desired front (Ringhult cream white). That means the aforementioned cabinet door would be laid horizontally against the wall on the countertop, fixed to the wall at the top with 2-3 screws. The base cabinets would be lowered enough to cover the screws – due to the thickness of the board, the cabinets would then hang at an angle. So I wouldn't screw the upper cabinet rails directly to the wall, but rather support them accordingly underneath. What do you think of this idea... :confused:
