If the wall thickness, strength class, and thermal conductivity are the same or better, in my opinion this should be possible without static calculations or a new thermal protection calculation. Usually, the documents state "or equivalent".
Is this achievable when switching from Poroton to Ytong?

Me neither. Since I initially wavered between the two building materials (or rather two shell builders / leaned less towards the stone) in the planning of our construction and at least know one concrete comparison, I at least raise a skeptical eyebrow. ;)
Poroton and Ytong, that is aerated concrete, are two stones with different properties. It must have been quite a load from the truck that made you suddenly want to switch. That might also be a company philosophy ;)
