Hello,

What is included in the €900.00?

Our surveyor - aside from the fact that they are all equally expensive, as billing must be done according to HOAI - charges €2,850.00 for all 4 services.

Kind regards

Hello Gigi

We were not clear about this either and are now gradually receiving more and more surprises in the form of invoices, etc. That is really not nice

So far we have had 2 invoices for the surveyor in the 1000 range and now we need him again after completion in a few weeks to completely resurvey the house.

There are really costs that we were not informed about in advance. We only received the usual information that about 30-35 thousand euros for additional costs would be due. In addition, we now also have the structural engineer to pay separately upon acceptance of the foundation slab and house.

Wish you all the best for the construction.

Best regards Silke

Could it possibly be that your house offer was quite cheap?

If you mean me: No, we are now paying 260 thousand euros for the house with 150 sqm without the land. I do not consider that a bargain.

Ok, that's not it. I paid the same price for a larger house and the complete surveying service was included. But didn't you read the [BB] before signing the contract? Everything that is not explicitly mentioned there is considered not purchased and must be paid for separately.
Although I must say, I consider this unfortunately quite common practice to be, to put it mildly, an outrage.
Charging the builder additional costs for things that are essential for building a house, such as surveying and/or structural engineering, is simply outrageous. In my opinion, things like this should be included in the house price from the start.
It feels to me somewhat like a customer bringing their car to my workshop and me saying: "You have to pay extra for the lift..."

Including additional construction costs, right?

You don't have a basement, did I understand that correctly?
